- Point Cabrillo Light Station: The Point Cabrillo Lightstation is a California State Historic Park, includes the historic 1909 Light Station (30.5 acres), and approximately 270 acres of undeveloped coastal bluffs and prairie.
- Mendocino Headlands: Gentile trails, great location for photography and painting, and amazing ocean views.
- Historic Ford House and Visitor Center: Along with providing visitors with general Mendocino information, the Ford House also contains a scale model exhibit of Mendocino in 1890.
- Kelley House Museum: The Kelley House Museum was in built in 1861 by one of the founding fathers of Mendocino, William Kelly. The museum also contains a storage facility and staffed research office.
- The Temple of Kwan Tai: Dedicated to the Chinese god of war, the temple offers living evidence of Mendocino's 19th century chinese community.
